Custom Gift Box: Inspire Virtual Luncheon featuring Ms. Tarana Burke

We are so honored to be chosen as the official custom gift basket supplier for YWCA’S “Virtual Inspire Luncheon” to be held on October 28th, 2021. Even more exciting is the creator/founder of the “me too” movement, Ms. Tarana Burke, as their special featured guest.

YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley is hosting its 31st annual Inspire luncheon- it’s virtual for the second year due to COVID19- a fundraising event that helps support programs and life-saving services for more than 18,000 people annually. The event is scheduled for Thursday, October 28th, 12-1:30pm, and will feather a moderated conversation with Tarana Burke, founder of the “me too” Movement.

The Luncheon has earned its reputation as one of the most powerful non-profit events of the year. It also features the presentation of the YWCA Empowerment Award, which celebrates and honors women in our community who are advocates and ambassadors for change.

Tarana Burke is best known for founding the “me too” Movement” and has dedicated her life to social justice work and giving strength to those who experienced sexual trauma or harassment. Years before #metoo became viral hashtag, Burke founded Just Be Inc., a non-profit that helps victims. You can find her full bio here.

Halloween Gift Baskets | Treats and Tricks

Halloween is my favorite holiday and we are gearing up for Halloween season 2020.

Of course, we have no idea what to expect this Halloween. This pandemic has made all holidays difficult to predict, but we have been keeping very busy. Maybe in 2020, people are craving connection and wanting to send more love to their friends and family that they cannot see in person.

Corporate Halloween Gift Baskets

Each Halloween season we make a whole bunch of Halloween baskets for our corporate clients, but this pandemic year is like a roulette game. We have no idea where the ball will land on the wheel.

Will people be celebrating this year? I have seen a bunch of memes about turning Halloween into a “Mardi Gras” style Halloween and that we just throw candy at the cars as your neighbors drive by… but not sure that is Covid19 safe!

Often our corporate clients buy gifts for employees and gifts for contests and drawings that they hold for their sales or marketing teams. We have property managers that buy Halloween gift baskets for their tenants. We have H.R. departments that buy Halloween gifts since it can be more politically correct since it is not a religious holiday.

Our clients, Mosaic Mortgage Group, hired us to make New Homeowner Gift Baskets and ship these custom gift baskets

(pictured below) to their clients that just moved into their new homes. Such a fun idea. Very creative.

Remember the last time you moved? Such a nightmare, but Mosaic Mortgage Group came up with this idea to ship each of their new clients

a gift box filled with important items you they may be desperate for. (Like a toothbrush or a phone charger.)

You remember how it is trying to find all of your things all boxed up and moved by the movers. NO FUN! Being a new home buyer is so stressful.

Mosiac hopes this gift box helps make everything go a little smoother.

Mosaic provided us with some items (paper towels and toothpaste) and we made the custom Mosaic Mortgage mugs. We included the snacks, caramel corn,

toilet tissue, paper towels, phone charger, picture hangers, a USPS change of address form, hand sanitizer, first aid kit, tissue, notepad, pen,

box cutter, a pad of paper, pen, duct tape, tea and coffee bags, and CHOCOLATE, of course

You can see this little guy is excited to check out all of the goodies inside this custom gift box. We find that our lender and realtor clients are always super creative!
